On 1^st September, 2014 when the current leadership emerged into the office, the population was 89, but between 2014 to 2019 the population rapidly increased with the total number of four hundred (400) students. The current principal (Mr. Ugwa Kingsley), his team of staff, and the management board of the school put much effort to ensure the rapid growth/development that is going on in the school presently. However, it has been noted that St. James’High School is one of the fastest growing and developing schools in Lafia Area Inspectorate.
