The school witnessed numerous successes in Academics, Structures, Sports and cultural display in the last five years. On 22^nd September, 2016 the school won first prize award in dance and drama competition organized by N.Y.S.C Cultural and Tourism inter-school competition in Lafia. Secondly, in 19^th February 2017 the school was overall winner of the first organized diocesansecondary schools Sports Competition at Masaka between 16^th to 19^th February, 2017. Thirdly, a two days inter sports competition organized between St. James’Christian Academy and St. James’ High School Lafia on the 29^th March, 2019 was on the favour of St. James’ High School Lafia. While in 3^rd July, 2019 the school won the first prize award of National Library of Nigeria, Nasarawa State chapter reading and comprehension competition organized for secondary schools.
